I’m glad to share with you our new project: Terrae. Terrae is a Massive Multiplayer Online (MMO) decentralized war strategy game, where players can build empires, conquer lands, rule over kingdoms, trade in marketplaces and make alliances with other players. All actions are recorded in a decentralized way using blockchain technologies, which allows players become the real owners of territories, currency and other game objects.

We are a team of game lovers from Argentina that get excited about being immersed in a world where you can create a community and use your intellect to compete with each other. There are many games that have already group this set of characteristics into successful games. However we see a missing core issue in these games: many players may feel not rewarded after playing them.

With blockchain we can create digital assets that players can own without the governance of a centralized entity. Players will be able to own virtual assets that exists beyond the game and can be traded between others, creating an economic system that will be connected with the real world. Summing this feature with the politics and strategy that war implies, we’ll have an organic world were players will compete for real value.
